Snorkeling Caño island one day tour

Description

Departure time: 7:15 am from the main beach, 7:30 am for hotels along the route. The tour includes the following: bilingual guide, entrance fees to Isla del Caño, appropriate snorkeling equipment, snacks, lunch, boat transportation, and lots of fun. Important things to bring: sunscreen, water, sandals, swimsuit, sunglasses, hat or cap, towel. It is recommended to bring a long-sleeved shirt for snorkeling to avoid sunburn. Logistics of the tour: The boat ride to Isla del Caño takes about 45 minutes, depending on sea conditions. Usually, stops are made along the way to observe the nature that the ocean may offer, such as dolphins, turtles, and pelagic birds, or any other marine life. Once on Isla del Caño, there is a check-in process with the park rangers. The island has different authorized snorkeling areas, and the guides usually choose the best spots for the activity. There are two snorkeling sessions, each lasting one hour, with a break in between on the beach of Isla del Caño for clients to rest and explore the surroundings

The island has restrooms, showers, and drinkable water for visitors. Lunch is usually served at Playa Sanjosecito, located 45 minutes away from Isla del Caño. Sanjosecito is one of the best beaches in the area where visitors can swim and walk around. It is the perfect place to relax and have the picnic-style lunch provided by Picolina Tour.
